i work at a school library so sometimes (i.e. frequently, whenever Bad Things happen) you just get this awful mix between “bad library patrons” and “bad college students”

i’ve had to break up people making out in front of a shelf of books people needed to access SO many times. like countless times. i feel like it happens once every month and i’ve been here for around 4 years or so

sometimes i’ll find things like half-eaten apples and wrappers from someone’s lunch, i think the worst was when one of the full-time employees found like... the remains of a roast chicken that someone tried to shove into the radiators to hide

we’ve found used condoms several times on separate occasions

one year a dude tried stealing(?) womens’ boots. just the boots. only from women. he stashed them somewhere and we assumed he was going to come back for them at some point so we just took them ourselves and put them in the lost & found

i’ve had several students get really frustrated with me because they expect me to have the library’s entire catalogue memorized? i don’t even work in reference???

uhhhh there’s probably other Things that have happened but i can’t remember anything specific

actually one thing that stands out from a few years ago: some dude sitting in between two shelves just munching on a pot of cheetos who refused to get out of people’s way; i had to get security to escort him out lmao

(LMFAOOOo sorry shippy ppl) sonic is sex/romance repulsed and wants nothing to do with either whereas shadow i sprobably more open to close and intimate relationships w/ ppl (he has……..a super secret need for affection that he never actually vocalizes) he could probably be in a queerplatonic relationship

amy eventually grows out of her huge crush on sonic. like she’s literally 12 while all the games take place so her big annoying obsession wiht him kinda makes sense given that 12 yr olds can be like that. especially since sonic is something of a celebrity. he’s like a hero thats saved her life a bunch of times it makes sense that she would idolize and obsess over him but overtime she would mature and chill out while still admiring him a lot
