constantly happy for the life that she’s living, she’s grateful simply to exist among the people she loves 

she’s the mom friend but know how to have fun, she just wants the best for people around her. 

she’s an expert at resolving conflict and comforting others, unfortunately sometimes that turns her into an emotions garbage can for people 

she was born in los angeles, california and grew up happily with her family who, unlike most, actually liked each other 

when she was twelve her parents died in a car crash and she spent the next six years being tossed from foster home to foster home

she became proficient in the art of cleaning up messes. and she enjoyed it, whereas she didn’t have control over where she was sent, she could always control how she presented herself 

so she decided that even if she didn’t feel positive, she would let others think she would, what was the use in crying over spilled milk

mina above all is good with people, she’s naturally charming and amicable, she’s always level-headed and patient 

her work ethic is unmatched, so much to the point that she often forgets to take care of herself in the effort of taking care of others 

they aren’t visible but she has walls up. she’s always ready to care for other people but is hesitant to let anyone care for her

she can come off to some people as insincere but her attitude and demeanor are genuine, if not always accurate to what she’s feeling

connections 

celebrity crush: having worked around celebrities mina has developed a few small crushes to her chagrin. she knows that the person is completely out of her reach as “the help” but that doesn’t stop her from blushing when they come around 

childhood friend: someone else who grew up in la with her! maybe they were in the foster care system 

annoyance: someone who is the exact antithesis of everything mina believes, pessimistic, sarcastic, and cynical 

former employer: mina was 22 when she got the job offer from madeleine so for about a year she was working for someone else, it could be you!

art buddy: someone who likes going to art shows with her!

okay so the first thing i wanna address is some characters that i'd easily compare davina too. the first character i'd compare her to is cheryl blossom from riverdale. honestly the only reason i watch that show is for cheryl. Rich, entitled and never accountable. Cheryl Blossom is a manipulative mean girl who kills with kindness. honestly sounds like davina to a t. but that's not all, i can see every aspect of davina being based off of cheryl?? she's a wealthy well known girl throughout the town who usually always gets what she wants. def a daddy's girl. in high school she was one of the head cheerleaders, always a well known liked person. i'd say that in high school she wasn't as mean ?? like u know kind of just like really popular and most of the time always nice to people.

another person i'd like to compare her to is blair waldorf. a lot of what i think davina get's from blair is her mindset, fashion sense and love for disasterous things. domineering, manipulative, and loyal. Blair has it all, yet she wants even more. She’s an obsessive overachiever with a shaky moral fiber, and she’ll go to great lengths to get what she wants. She sees other females as rivals and barely even trusts her best friends. Still, despite her ruthlessness, she can be sensitive and compassionate when her friends are in need, and won’t hesitate to defend someone she cares about.

davina was born and raised in a small town in north carolina called wilmington. at a young age she was always raised with a silver spoon in her mouth, never had it taken out until she had lost her mother josie. josie and davina had the best relationship, in fact davina spent a lot of time with her mother while her father was too busy off running his company and screwing around with his staff. when her mother had finally had enough of her father's cheating, she took davina and moved away to california. that's where things really started to get great for davina. she was popular, everyone liked her, she was a really good friend of madeleine's. but that all went to shit as soon as davina lost her mother. her mother was in a horrific car crash when davina was seventeen. her mother spent about a month at the hospital but davina had chosen to let her mother go seeing that her condition was only getting worse. after she buried her mother, davina asked her auntie julia to move into her place until she was eighteen and could take care of herself. 

her relationship with her mother was always great. her mother was really her best friend, the only person she trusted with all of her secrets. the one thing that davina always loved the most about her mother was the fact that she never allowed davina to not follow her dreams. if she wanted to take dance classes, her mother would let her take dance classes. if she wanted to go out to a party with a couple friends her mother would give her a strict curfew and a ride home. her mother always wanted her to just ... live her life. she was never held back from doing things that she wanted to experiment with. her mother was also a very hard working person. even though she never allowed herself to get into the acting business she was always working at a diner in hopes to always keep her daughter happy. she always received monthly checks from her ex husband to help with bills and put davina through school but josie was always wanting to do what she could to be the best mother.

davina’s relationship with her father is simply nonexistent. he was never around when she was toddler and in davina’s eyes he wasn’t really even her father ... simply just the sperm donor who brought her into the world. davina’s tried countless times to get her father’s attention but he was too busy with his new family. davina has two step siblings, a younger step sister and an older step brother who was adopted by her father when he decided to remarry. the lack of her father’s love is what really pushed davina to be the best. as an adult, she quit trying to make her father happy because he could give a shit less about his first born child. deep down she knows that there’s no love from him to give to her. so she looks for love now in the only way she can, her acting. her acting is what gives her the love she no longer receives because of her mother’s passing.

after high school davina went away to college and studied dramatic arts. wanting to take after her mother. her mother was an aspiring actress who only wanted her daughter to succeed in what she couldn't. her mother had gotten pregnant around the time she had wanted to go forth with her career but couldn't due to her pregnancy being a complicated one. josie was then just a stay at home mother who wanted nothing but the best for her only child. so with that in the back of davina's mind she wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps. she wanted to be successful for her mother because her mother wasn't able to follow her dreams due to her mother being pregnant with her.

after her mother’s passing davina got herself into some trouble, which is something that no one knows about. she was a huge partier, getting herself into drugs she shouldn’t be doing and drinking to the point where she’d wake up in the hospital getting her stomach pumped. if you were to ask her how many public intoxication’s she’s gotten, she’d like and tell you none. but in reality if you dig up her deepest darkest secrets you’d learn that she was 4 on her record. but of course she used her daddy’s money to pay them off and to keep it on the down low. 

so now davina is one of the most well known actresses in hollywood, doing a little bit of modeling here and there. davina is one of the most hard working actresses in the business, she was never handed a role to her in any way. she fought for her roles and worked hard to get what she wanted. which was why she was always in competition with mads. 

mads and davina got along when they were younger, in fact they were really good friends when they went to school together. however things changed after graduation. they were both going after the same thing, wanting to be actresses. except madeleine never had to work for the jobs she was given. she was always one step ahead of davina and that's what drove davina into working her hardest. spending all night reading through scripts in hope to find the best role she possibly could. needless to say they were friends who drifted and turned into enemies. it's always a competition between them which was why davina was one of the main suspects in her disappearance. because the media knew all about their relationship with each other. well.... their lack of.
