grrrr where do I start me and fish have been like plotting this shit out all day i don't know where this even came from

- they obvs meet because den and ned are just hanging out like two bros do, honestly the both of them have probably walked in on different occasions to find those two being degenerates more than enough times, and they happen to tag along at the same time on one occasion because they have nothing better to do but lux is just immediately like (♥ω♥*) ohohoho hello and who is this~????

- Ice legit is like why the fuck are you staring at me so much what are you thinking what is going on (lux inner monologue 'I want to spend so much money and time on you, I want to dress you up and give you the world we have known each other for not even 5 minutes)

- Lux would be so unabashedly forward, he grew up with Ned who's a mess anyway and Belgium who probably is a bit freaky too so nothing phases him, he doesn't even know his own limits. Literally sending gifts like crazy, eventually he sends his credit card for when he isn't able to visit or overthinks the gifts he's sending, all he asks for is pictures of what's bought and because he really really really wants to hear Ice's reaction to getting something he really really wanted

- Everybody eventually starts wondering why tf Ice is suddenly wearing designer (lux bought it for him) and where he's getting all this expensive shit (lux's money)

- Probably would also be Ice's biggest outlet, they know what sort of shit has gone on between their groups and they can really talk it out when stuff goes on between them/ is getting hard to deal with. They'd vibe together so well and Lux would be so hyperfixated on spoiling him. SOOOOOO hyperfixated

- also luxembourg is so beautiful ice is so fucked so absolutely fucked look at that man and say he's not beautiful i dare you

- ngl Belgium is probably crying in fake french about what the fuck is wrong with both of her brothers they're both obsessed with nordics and she can't get away from it

Sorry my last ask got super negative!! Yeah, I just love pairings that have historical/cultural connections which aren’t negative, since that seems to be what a lot of the fandom focuses around... like I like LuxIce and I first thought about it because Luxembourg has the highest number of Icelandic expats living there because it’s where icelandair is based! Like that’s a cute and non upsetting way to start a pairing, rather than focusing on traumatic events... idk, I’m getting negative again :/

Yeah that’s valid as long as you aren’t shaming people who do like ships whose irl relations have problems. A lot of people do like those ships as like a healing or “better world” kind of thing (specifically a lot of Chinese nichu fans I’ve talked to have this sentiment).
