after a few too many arrests and incidents, grady sent simon to work overseas. in australia, to be exact, with a job that sounded good on paper but really left simon with nothing to do but twiddle his thumb and seethe with resentment over the last ten years
he made scarce visits to new york over those years, enough to leave a charming, warm impression in direct opposition to gradyās icy demeanor

hale was born and bred for success. born to wealthy business elite parents, hale was always expected to turn out successfully.
his parents, though successful business magnates, were never in love. hale didnāt grow up around love. he grew up around the idea that money did equal happiness.
that said, hale is very bad at understanding the concept of love and personal relationships.
he has them, to an extend, but never really shook the idea that money = happiness and you donāt need another person to make you happy.
DEATH TW SRY FRIENDS : however , before hale came to the states, he fell deep in love. he was young and starting his empire through businesses all over england when he met daisy walker. daisy didnāt come from a rich family. in fact, her family has little to no money. but hale loved her with his whole heart, and it distracted from his goal. he let one of his businesses crash, and within the next month daisy suddenly passed away in a freak accident. to this day, hale wears a bracelet of hers to honor her death and remember that love is real; he also thinks that her death wasnāt an accident, but has no proof.
CLUB STUFF.
(lil death tw!)after the crash of one of his businesses and the death of daisy (death tw over!) hale made his way to new york to start a new life. he had family in the states and slowly, he build up his empire of luxury nightclubs all over new york, focusing on the manhattan area.
hale has several clubs (including a luxury lgbt club!! and no, this one doesnāt have any ~other~ stuff going on like listed below), all luxury and all booming with successful business.
at first, his clubs were all just clubs; and some of them still are. however, the clubs in manhattan have became a space for some ~criminal~ activity. if you look hard enough, youāll see the top deck is more then just a vip area. haleās not exactly proud of the criminal dealings that happen under his watch, but he also was the one who allowed them to happen to bring in more money. he wouldnāt just let criminal deals happen for free, now would he?
although his first businesses were nothing compared to the ones he controls now, he still remembers his parents reactions when he let his business fall and he wonāt let anything get in his way of them being successful.Ā
PERSONALITY.
hale comes off as very blunt and aggressive. he doesnāt hold his thoughts back & definitely seems like an ass at first.
however! heās very charming and can be easy to talk to once you get passed his initial, you know, Gruff personality.
hale mostly acts how his parents acted. he can see full of himself but in reality, he hides his confidence issues with money.
hale rly needs to be loved but he canāt get his damn head out of his business & keeps getting deeper into crime organizations that he doesnāt need to be getting involved with.Ā

hale chose the club business because he took over a small nightclub for his uncle and somehow grasped it as his empire. heās either purchased or built many of the nightclubs around the city.

Here is my second child. Heās Chris Hemsworth, so you could stare at him all day and be more than satisfied, and thatās a big mood (not all the guys in Australia look like him, Iām so sorry to shatter that illusion). Anyway, here he is:
SebastianĀ āBassā Rhodes was born on April 27th 1983 in Miami, Florida. He grew up with a rather large family ā three brothers and one sister. Heās the second born and one of his brothers is older. (Older Brother 1, Bass, Brother 2, Sister 1, Brother 3)
His family were the envy of pretty much everyone where he lived and he was very popular at school because of it. He had people all over him wanting to be friends, wanting to hang out, just because they wanted to get in with his family and be associated with their status.Ā
He started going by the nickname of Bass, much to the dismay of his father, when he was about fourteen years old. His father much preferred Sebastian or nothing.
As a kid, Bass always wrote things whenever he got a chance. He loved coming up with stories and characters and creating worlds. He entered a bunch of writing competitions as a kid and as a teenager and won a lot of them, but as he got older, his parents werenāt a big fan of that becoming his life profession, because his father wanted him to inherit his company.
His older brother, at that point, had moved to London and got himself a job in a big company there, so the job fell to Bass instead, but he wasnāt really a big fan of doing itā writing was what he wanted to do.
Because he turned his father down, heās kind of estranged from him. They still talk every now and then, but itās only in short bursts of small conversation, but he is very close to his mother and siblings and he talks to them more often.
When he was twenty, he took the money his parents had put aside for him for college and decided to go to New York instead and ditch college to try and get the screenplay that heād been working on for two years into the hands of someone that could actually make it go somewhere.
After a few months there, he actually found someone who read it and liked it and while they deemed it wasnāt ready yet, they did start working together to make it ready to be made into a film.
It did end up getting made into a film, and the film was quite successful, so it launched his career. After writing a few more screenplays, the life of his fame sort of caught up with him.
When he was twenty-five, he was out partying all the time, drinking and spending his nights with whoever would go home with him and making the most of the fact that his fame wouldnāt last forever.Ā
But one night, he met a woman that he got along with really well. They fell head over heels in love with each other and three months later, they were married. But the longer they were together, the more they realized that they werenāt that compatible as a couple.Ā
So, when he was twenty eight, they got a divorce and went their separate ways, though they vowed to still remain friends. He still holds a lot of love and admiration for her in his heart, though, and he knows he always will.
He was in the prime of his career when the divorce hit, and he was getting offers left, right and center, but then everything went downhill when writerās block hit him hard after the breakdown of the marriage.Ā
For four years he went off the map and just travelled around the world by himself, trying to figure things out and get back into writing, but it didnāt really work. Now, heās back in New York and heās finally working on a screenplay thatās working out. Heās only a quarter of the way into it, but hey, heās actually writing something, so thatās good news, right?Ā
Overall, Bass is a pretty happy, friendly guy, but he can be quite complicated ā heās got an underlying side where heās not afraid to do whatever it takes to get back into writing, which means he might have stole an idea or two from other people in the hopes of success and when he was travelling he might have broken some laws to get money.
Heās sort of fallen back into the whole party lifestyle now but heās happy where he is right now, and while he might come across sometimes as a little forward or intense, heās not all that. Though, there is only a small amount of people that he really cares for ā his mother, siblings and his ex-wife fit well in that category.
He is, in some sense of the word, a playboy, but he tries not to associate that word with himself because it makes him feel weird. So heād just go with... fun.Ā
And now for plots...
Much like Eden, Iād love so many things for him. Plenty of friends, people heās known since he got into town and people heās still friends with now. Perhaps some people who witnessed him in the worst part of his life after the divorce and heās closer with them because of it. A good lot of one night stands, friends with benefits (men and women). she was a classic beauty and tons of major designers were eager to book her
this went to her head and she took advantage of the fact that she was in high demandĀ
but despite her reputation of being difficult to work with, she received steady work
she also got pretty messed up in drugs, sometimes barely making it down the runway-- though never missing a show
but that seemed to only fuel the nationās fascination with herĀ
through her time in the industry, she hasnāt matured much
sheās still bitter and cruel and sometimes unnecessarily harsh, but sheās been hurt a few too many times
but she takes her job very seriously and wants to start branching into other aspects of the fashion world, perhaps design or even photography
