Kai felt like he was waiting for eternity for his shift to end at the kissing booth, not line he didn’t appreciate the attention but his mind was more focused on the part of the evening where he wasn’t forced to work. The carnival has died down, now all that was left was the bonfire and spending it however he saw fit. Noticing Lavender out of the corner of his eyes caused a smile to appear on his face, he walked over slowly before greeting her with a nod. “Did you start making s’mores without me? How am I going to survive this one?” He chuckled and took the empty seat beside her.
