Okay so I am a Lux Martin Did So Much Wrong And That's The Point Actually truther when it comes to how Luxbel ended, in case you couldn't tell.
I hate when people try to pretend she's some tragic figure who has never done anything bad in her entire life, particularly when they talk about Luxbel and try to paint Ashbel as some awful person. Like yeah, they were both bad, but neither one of them was so much worse than the other.
They were both just so traumatized and desperately looking for ways to control their lives. Lux doesn't have the right to tell Ashbel what she can and can't do, but she was also justified in being upset hearing that Ashbel did this and (in her eyes) threw her life away specifically for Lux's sake. Especially after Ashbel was the person Lux had spent three seasons confiding in about how her patron was actively ruining her life.
On the other hand, Ashbel was more than allowed to make this choice for herself, but she deliberately hid it from Lux for weeks explicitly because she knew Lux would be upset about it after promising not to keep any more secrets and she only did it because she didn't like feeling out of control about Lux's safety, which wasn't hers to obsess about. Lux had a bit of an over the top reaction (summoning a demon BC you're mad is a bit much) but she also hadn't been okay in any way since M-Roc's death and she did know for certain no one would actually get hurt (which she literally said). They ruined their relationship together, it was a group effort.
