The origins of a background character that nobody besides me cares about! (Yay!) Shayde-31 is a prototype of an Exo combat synthetic life form, created for a war long forgotten. His purpose was to smuggle a Warmind, an A.I designed for earth's defense against extraterrestrial forces, into the battlefield to create the ultimate soldier. Shayde failed in his purpose miserably. Shayde had gained a personality thanks to The Traveler, as he was built using materials that it had provided. When his personality was proving to be a problem, he was slated for decommissioning and disposal. However, one of his creators, Dr. Levin Kevechko, proposed he could be used for civil, or recreational means. The military wasn't having it, and attempted to seize Shayde. With the help of some assistants, Dr Kevechko was able to get Shayde to safety and hide him. Left with few options, Dr Kevechko installed Polemos, a diplomatic/aggression response Warmind, into Shayde as a defense mechanism. Sadly, the Military found and killed Kevechko, triggering Polemos. Shayde enraged by his creator's death, and unleashed his partner's fury upon his murderers. The Warmind, using Shayde's body, killed dozens of men before being suppressed. The military attempted to reprogram Shayde and Polemos, but got nowhere. The Exo and the Warmind proved unbreakable through means of technology, so their captors gave them an ultimatum; fight under them, or die. They had no choice but to comply. Shayde was introduced to Lux-56 and Roulette-7, his brother and sister, who were created by Kevechko prior to him. They were put into training, when The Fallen arrived and decimated everything. Shayde died, and lost his memory, but Polemos did not...

Part three of Guardian Arrival. Lux has just picked a fight with Volker and Russell, two members of the Assassin Brotherhood. They've got a fight on their hands, but luckily, back up is about to arrive. ------------------------ The School was alight with chaos as Lux attempted to tear the Assassins apart. They'd interfered with his battle and now he was even angrier than before. Volker and Russell did everything they could to lure him out where he wished Blossom and some of the other powerful students might be. Maybe even that new Sub that showed up.... "Face your end, cowards!!" Lux screamed down the hall, charging with the force of a runaway train and dead set on flattening the two slippery bastards. "Sod off!" Russell yelled back. He flipped the bird as salt in the wound. "Why you...." Lux snarled and almost caught them. Then, almost from no where. "Hey, Dumbass!" Lux turned to the source of the voice, only to be greeted with a fist to the face. --------------- Middleverse ------------ "Boss! I've got the signal!" Spirit chimed. "Amplify it!" Roulette had traveled to Middleverse, which was eerily deserted, after hearing of an attack that sounded like Shayde. The survivor mention, "a cloak, two knifes, a revolver and death." Three words that fit the bill of a hunter. "Hello?" A female voice broke the static that Spirit had been getting. "Hooked 'em!" She whispered. "Hi-ya! This is Spirit! Is a Mr. 31 with you by any chance Ms....um....who are you?" "Who's asking?" The voice replied. Roulette stepped forward and took over for her companion. "Roulette-7, I am searching for Shayde-31. He is in grave danger, and I need to find him before-" "Wait, what kind of danger?" A male voice interrupted. "Ghost! I was-oops..." The female voice deflated and let out a sigh. There was some shuffling from the other side of the radio. The was an "Ah!" From the female voice among the noise until another male voice spoke up from the radio. "This is Shayde. Who are you?" Roulette perked up immediately and was gleefully bouncing! "Shayde! I'm so glad you're safe! Listen, you have to find me right now or else The Fallen will find you!" "The Fallen? They're here?!" "No, but we've come to stop them from finding you and destroying this world." Shayde was silent for a minute before responding. He knew it was his fault. The only reason they found Reaper High is because of him... "Ok, send me your coordinates..." He sighed. Suddenly, two voices came over the channel. Behind them was screaming and shouting...and the sound of gunfire. "HE DIDN'T..." Roulette hissed. ------------- Reaper High -------------- "Uh...Rou...we got a problem." Xavis Leawood had returned to the camp only to find it empty, and found Lux running rampant at the school nearby. Volker and Russell we lucky enough to find her and get answers from her, as to who this maniac was and why he nearly killed two students and destroyed the front door. "WHERE IS THAT IDIOT?!" Roulette screamed over the radio, making Shayde audibly jump. "Flat on his ass next to me. Don't worry, I'll let you deal with him." Xavis replied, kicking Lux for good measure. "Don't move! I'm on my way." The Warlock cut her part of the channel off. "So, you find your baby brother yet?" Xavis had no clue he was on the channel. "Baby brother?" Vega thought aloud. "Who is this? Lucky?" Xavis asked out. "I'm Vega. Shayde's my boyfriend." "HA! What?! Oh man! Lucky's gonna have a freaking fit!" "I don't see what's funny..." "Oh, no. I'm sorry...it's just....HAHAHA!!!" Xavis began cackling as Roulette approached Via Sparrow, brimming with rage, and happiness at the same time. She'd found Shayde, only for Lux to go and screw things up by throwing a tantrum. --------------- 5 minutes -------------- The Warlock jumped off her bike and grabbed the unconscious Titan, wanting to throw him into the void. This idiot nearly compromised their entire mission, all because he couldn't be patient! Volker, unnoticed as always spoke up, wanting to aid them in anyway possible after "No one's here. Veekend. I can blame ze damage on one of ze villains. Don't vorry. Nobody vill know you were here." The two Guardians looked to him and sighed in relief. "Thanks for the help. You guys friends of Shayde?" Russell walked over, scratched and bruised from a bit of a scuffle with Lux. "Yes, I'm his Sister, and Xavis here is my friend." Roulette explained. There was much to do and little time. Shayde would have to get back to the school quick if The Fallen were to be stopped, or else Reaper High might face annihilation.

Part Two of My Fic series. Shayde is on his way back to RH, but Lux's patience has run out, and Roulette isn't there to stop him this time.... ------------------------------------- Lux paced back and forth around the camp, seething with rage over the lack of progress of his mission. Roulette and Xavis, the fire-team's third member weren't much help to him, and The Fallen were upon their doorstep. This world was going to burn, no doubt about it, but Shayde-31 would not be there when it did. Not on Lux's watch. "That's it." The Exo growled. "If the other won't help me, I'll take matters into my hands." He took his rifle and marched toward the School. He was going to get answers and if that meant beating it out of whoever needed beating, that was fine by him. Roulette was busy investigating the nearby town of Middleverse to stop him, and Xavis was nowhere to be found. Now was as good a time as any. --------- Revar & Stake's Room ------- "...And then, you know what happened?" "What?" "My dad blew the place up, took their rides and got off planet before anyone knew he was gone!" Revar and Stake had been sharing stories of their families during the Clone Wars and the Reaper War. Revar told of his Father's service in the N7 special ops team, while Stake told of his father's bravery as a Clone Sentinel, enduring loss, near death and betrayal. He'd just finished telling the Turian about the betrayal that the 501st suffered at the hands of a general. A noise broke the storytelling mood; Gunfire. "Contact!" Revar leapt to his feet and geared up, tossing Stake his rifle while grabbing his own. The two rushed outside to see an armored figure, bulky and rugged in stature, standing at the gate with and assault rifle. He was screaming like a mad man, and tried to break through the bars. He'd attracted a crowd of teachers and students alike. "I DEMAND THAT YOU OPEN THIS GATE! NOW!" Lux hollered, but no one listened. They were either too scared, too confused or too preoccupied laughing. Stake and Revar plotted their plan of action for dealing with this crazed aggressor, and moved to the gate, slowly. "What seems to be the problem, sir?" Revar kept his cool and did as his father taught him; Approach the suspect with caution and begin questioning. Lux, helmeted and unreadable, clenched one of the gate bars and snarled. "I. Want. In." Stake and Revar looked at each other. He's crazy. I know. "Yeah, sorry pal, but we can't do that. School policy is that we don't let in psychos." Stake quipped. "Go get a drink, it'll do you some good." Lux stood still for a second then sighed in frustration. He turned around to walk away but stopped after 5 seconds. Enough of this nonsense. He quickly turned around, sprinted at the gate, and leapt in the air, hovering for a moment before slamming into the ground. He slowly rose and turned to the duo menacingly. "That was me being nice. But now..." Lux cracked his knuckles. "I'm quite angry." Revar and Stake opened fire as soon as they could, making Lux run for cover quick. As soon as Revar needed to reload, the Titan rushed him and shoulder tackled him through the front door, scattering the crowd. The Turian was knocked out, and Lux drew his rifle to finish him. Stake leapt on The Exo's back and hit him over the head rapidly. He dropped to the floor and pulled out his father's Darksaber, and slashed at Lux, who glided around him almost effortlessly. The Titan grabbed Stake's wrist and lifted him off the ground, head-butting him three time before throwing him to the floor. "A valiant effort. But you fail nonetheless." Lux gloated. He raised his foot to crush Stake, only to be struck in the back by what felt like- no, WAS a knife. A Hunter? Lux turned to face his attacker, who was indeed hooded, but not a hunter. "My apologies, but I can let you do zat...." There stood Volker Uhlmann, and next to his Russell Meritt, the schools resident assassins. Volker had stopped the Titan with a phantom blade, and Russell stood at attention with dual machine pistols. "Alright, prick, what makes you think you can just bust in here and rough up our mates?" He questioned, his trigger fingers itching. Lux stood there and laughed. He was felt invincible, and looked upon the two assassins as if he were a god. "You think you can challenge a Titan?! You're death wishes are fulfilled..."

[This is an open RP for all RH/DR Blogs, the more the merrier!] Roulette had gone to the school and back to make allies with the locals. She was successful for the most part, but only one knew of the situation that would assist in the fight. Lux was furious when she brought the foreigner to the base camp. "Roulette what- WHAT IS THIS?!" He barked, raising his rifle. "Who are you?! Why have you trespassed here!?" Roulette stopped him as always. "Calm yourself, and play nice. They mean no harm. Go on. Introduce yourself to Lux. I'll make sure he won't bite."

I'm going to write another fic, but this time it's going to be about Shayde's brother and sister finding him. There will also be another guardian with them, so expect a heck of a party. The antagonist is going to blow your mind.
