hellolololo luvvy ! ! I really love love the texture on ur art so i was wondering how u achieved that look / if u used any specific brushes to get that ‘grittiness’????
I use Twulfs free brushes on kofi for lineart and they’re awesome! I’m a procreate user through and through so I’m always on the lookout for good, free brushes.
Another thing I do that naturally gives my art a crunch is work on a small canvas lol. I do it without realizing most of the time (which is bad if I ever want to make prints…) but it definitely gives a certain pixel-ly look to my art. I also hate blurring or smudging colors. I will usually layer different colors right on top of each other for lineart as opposed to changing the color of the line itself or just use a brush with painting physics on low opacity like a wash over an area that a character might have two colors blended.
