Probably one of the darkest fanfics or fics in general that I’ve read, originally I was just browsing ao3 after like half a decade of not touching it to see if there’s anything good. Safe to say I’ve struck ABSOLUTE GOLD. Putting aside the insanely messed up and dark plot of the fic, the pacing, the character interactions, hell the whole plot itself is incredibly well put together and the quality is not something I expected when I first started reading..

The whole thing has sent me to indescribable emotional rollercoasters between liking and disliking characters (not because they’re terribly written) through the changes and phases they go through. It also made me question Silver’s state in the AU, he gets progressively annoying (IN A GOOD WAY) as you ask yourself “how can someone be so stupid”, but at the same time you can’t excuse the fact that he’s been through hell and in a way its not his fault…? I dont even know how to begin, this fanfic is terrible in the most amazing way possible with how it fiddled and twisted characters so smoothly and disturbingly good
