No human is truly unafraid of death. In Lussuria's case, it's a bit more prominent than with others. Their style of fighting and expertise, being quick on their feet, even the metal knee meant to crush enemies - those are all maneuvers taken to ensure they get hit as little as possible. Of course, Lussuria understands that pain is a natural part of fighting; but if they could mitigate it as much as possible, they certainly would. They do not relish the pain of battle, they relish a tactic playing out well. But when it comes to the prospect of death? Lussuria is terrified.

As stated, Lussuria's preferred "type" is a corpse. In a way, they project their fears onto others in a sick manner. That said, the concept of themselves being unmoving terrifies them to no end. It's why they keep themselves healthy at all times, so much so that they can't even get sick. In short, they avert pain, and their romantization of death stems from their intense fear of it.

Lussuria doesn't hold the apparent tenth generation of Vongola in high regard. For him, they're a bunch of kids, led by a boss with waning resolves. It's only in leading his own people that Sawada Tsunayoshi has any means to act -- and that by itself, has been pushed upon him by Reborn. In Lussuria's point of view, Tsunayoshi lacks the initiative required to be a proper mafia boss; and definitely lacks the stomach for it.

Disregarding the elite Varia -- as a Hitman alone, Lussuria knows how tough, rugged and muddy the mafia world can be. Some familiga like the Cavallone do exist, but those are few and far inbetween; and a little kid with no real life experience has no business leading one of the most esteemed mafia in the world. Tsunayoshi is as such, unfitting to become a boss, as he is. Fact of the matter is though, this kid will become the Vongola Tenth. That was established not just in the battle with the Varia, but also in the future as a hard fact that Lussuria is left to simply accept.

It's also worth noting -- he only abhors Sawada Tsunayoshi because of how highly he thinks of the Vongola familiga in the first place. As a hitman employed by the very group, he's seen it prosper over several years and despite belonging to a sub-branch, he is a proud man of the Vongola. Whatever chaotic antics the mob decides to do are all fine - so long as they aim to prosper and gain more power. Only by gaining more power, which they thoroughly have done over the years, can they oppress the competition without even lifting a finger. That sign of strength, earns the right to boast.

As far as the Vongola Decimo's Guardians go, Lussuria is perfectly fine with all of them, with the exception of Lambo. Who in their right mind employs a genuine kid to fight Levi? Tsunayoshi's actions to stop the fight came a beat too late in Lussuria's judgment, and persistence on Lambo's position as the Thunder Guardian is only made worse. The rest of the guardians are each extremely powerful and have shown their resolve, in Lussuria's eyes, more than their boss. But he also understands that they could show such talents, because of who their boss is.

Overall, they get a pass.
