here’s a poem called Love, The Lusitania that I wrote this week and just read at an open mic (like…7 minutes ago.) it’s from the perspective of the lusitania so i figured yall would enjoy it :)) (pspspsppsps…. @transgenderfabianseacaster us when boats…..)

hi indigo . i saved this for after my shift so i could answer when REALLY PISSED. anyway. it’s AVIS DOLPHIN. I HAVE SERIOUS PERSONAL BEEF WITH AVIS DOLPHIN. OKAY. she was a rich little girl who rode on the lusitania i think she was like 9? at the time? but her claim to fame is that she made friends with this famous author on the ship named Ian Houlburn. during the disaster, Houlburn saved her life (failed to save the lives of her two nurses) and they like. remained friends afterwards. and she inspired him to write a book called The Child of the Moat, A Story for Girls, 1557 A.D. and it got super famous and he credited her and everything. she was credited as a contributor on a national geographic documentary even tjoug SHE WASNT INTERVIEWED …… YKNOW WHO WAS??! CHRISSIE AITKEN. MY FAVORITE EVER. I LOVE HER AND LITERALLY NO ONE KNOWS WHO SHE IS. AVIS DOLPHIN GETS TOO MUCH PRESS AND TOO MUCH CREDIT EVEN TJOIGN ARGUABLY?? CHRISSIE AITKEN IS BETTER AND MORE INTERESTINT. OKAY. I HAVE BEEF WITH AVIS DOLPHIN IN THE SAME WAY YOU HAVE BEEF WITH BALTO

YAY !!! my BOAT #myBOAT PURPLE HEART EMOJI...,,, okokokok so. the lusitania was a very high class ocean liner made by the cunard line. and fun fact pointing emoji it had to go at a speed of at least 24 knots or everyone would be FIRED!!!!!!!!!! and on its final voyage it departed from nyc with 1960 passengers on its way to liverpool during may of 1915!! however this was during wwi in europe (the us hadnt joined yet but we were helping out england by giving them ammunition and food and whatnot this is important) and there was a huge threat to any ships passing through european waters even passenger ships! but the united states was like . "weeeeelllllll. we need to give england supplies. if we just put 2000 innocent people on a passenger boat along with 20 tons of ammunition perhaps germany will not bomb our ship!!" but alas. may 7th 1915 around 2pm the ship is sank by a torpedo from a german uboat and 762 people survived thumbs up thumbs up thumbs up yayyyy i love my boat thabk you !!!!!!!!!!!! also. uou should look at my lusitania blog that i sometimes make poasts on @leftylusitania
