You’re at the point where a lot of people were turned off by. But that was when they were looking forward to every new chapter. I would say to keep reading it. The manga right now has 103 chapters, you don’t have to wait months for the entire thing to be resolved and when I say that as soon as you get into Marley and beyond, your interest will be piqued. Rn at 103 I’m at the edge of my seat like wishing Isayama would release chapters right away because I wanna know what happens!

Not to say the uprisig arc is boring at the least because it’s where you dive into the paradis civilians and then government. I’m not sure if you’re far into the crystal cave thing yet but you’ll get to know more about the history of ackermans. I really loved it tbh. And also! Right after that is a big…tragedy I would say but I won’t spoil it other than that. There’s so much more to talk about as in the maturity of the characters, the plot, the reasons, the parallels, and how little tid bits shown in the manga makes perfect sense as you get to the most recent chapters and omfg it’s still not enough because yams gives you enough information to be satisfied but not enough to truly know. Yanno what I mean? If you want to know more or if you want something clarified just hmu on private chat!P.s historia is named the new ruler for paradis. She’s not a titan.

There are A LOT… So I’ll list 3 that I can think of 

Tsuyu and Deku is one I think is very very underrated primarily because its been overshadowed by ships with Todoroki, Bakugou, basically faces you see more of. And I don’t mind those ships either tbh its probably the closest its been to equal showcases with a variety show of ships. I just find it being one of the lesser known ones. 

(I had to do it forgive me) SasuIno is another one because I remember, a lot of people never actually took it seriously, it was laughed at. And when SS vs SK took center stage any other ship with any other woman and Sasuke just got pushed out of existence (or tried to anyway). It might have been a rival ship but looking at what we got…

Seriously I’d prefer SasuIno if I’m being honest and realistic (or even SK to be fair) I personally favored SasuHina since day one but… They could have done worlds better.

Nope. Yoshihiro Togashi, knows better. He stuck to his roots and kept the show about what it should be about. If he wanted ships to be a focus, you’d see it. I would much rather Gon, Killua, Kuripika, and Leorio, be single old men that play poker on Sundays than try to make ships. I’ve had enough, if I want ships at the end I would watch anime like:

- “My love story.”

- “Clanned.”

And since I’m not sorry, Yoshihiro Togashi has been in this business longer than Kishimoto. I bet he saw what happen, and took notes on “WHAT NOT TO DO TO MY ANIME.” Like:

I mean… realistically speaking no. It would not work, if Kishi had half the decent brain to write properly, Neji would have no romantic feelings for someone he’s basically forced to protect as is the law of the clan. 

There’s also this buzz of “their cousins ewww!” and I’mma just say this; it is real that some counties used to or still allow the practice of marrying cousins. However, ethically and morally that kind of area is like… no. 

I will also say there are people who draw it and write about their “What if they were together.” and from a creative standpoint there’s nothing wrong with that, practical works of literature have dabbled in areas that many would cringe and say no about. 

But to me, because of how canon is laid out, because of how the dynamic was just a big catastrophe with HIM DYING for the sake of another ship. I just can’t find the romantic appeal. 

What do I mean when I say their dynamic?

- Part 1 The chunin exams purposefully(to be completely honest there is no possible way you cannot tell me that was a rigged fight) pitted them to fight one another. She knew, yes she knew that Neji did not have kind feelings about her or the main branch, considering her dad got his dad killed. 

- Later after he fights Naruto and get’s talked no justu’ed into submission, Hiashi comes by and says “So yeah I got your dad killed all those years ago, he left you a letter tho… Sorry fam.” and Neji just magically forgives everything and is suddenly working side by side with Hinata?

- theen he has to literally RISK HIS LIFE, at the stake of Hinata doing yet another suicide run for Naruto…. Yeah lets not forget that she tried to “save” Naruto against Pein and we all know how that went….

Like, it just realistically doesn’t roll as smoothly as a headcanon or fanon can potray it (and there are some pretty interesting good things out there I won’t deny that) 

For one thing, why did we never see any sense of resolution solving their conflicts from when they were kids?

Why didn’t EITHER of them apologize to the either? What did they just shrug it off and pretend it never happened?
