Vaesa’s old design has been recycled, because I still really like it! It’s fun to draw and expressive..... so, meet Luscence, or Luce for short, Vaesa’s teenage daughter! Luce is adopted, found as an egg with a spell placed on so it wouldn’t hatch until found. Her biological mother was one of Radiance’s priestesses who died due to the infection, along with many of Radiance’s followers. She was so taken by rage that she lashed out at every living thing in Kavuta’s Kingdom, including her own followers. Even those who were still loyal to her.
Luce is an absolute sassmaster of a teenager but she has a good heart under all her snark, and she’s brought back a lot of Vaesa’s spark and sass. The two will sass back and forth with eachother. Luce loves to mess with Kavuta. She also loves the twins, Khala and Khira and is one of the only ones that can babysit them without getting overwhelmed by them because she matches their energy and they have a blast. Even if mother and adoptive daughter argue sometimes, they love eachother. Vaesa is very thankful to have Luce there. Luce always goes by Luce.. unless she’s in trouble. If Vaesa shouts her full name, she knows she done fucked up!
