STARTER LORE:

two young lords with pretty much zero claim to their respective thrones and nothing to lose (but their honor) are sent abroad to the heartlands, where many nobles pursue higher education and hone their battle prowess.

unfortunately, the differing customs of the mountain rabbitfolk and the coastal catfolk cause some considerable confusion between luoran and marius. what starts as a simple cultural misunderstanding quickly spirals out of control into the masculinity fueled rivalry(?) of the century...
