during the times he’s told to patrol around the school district, ushi more often than not finds himself riding his skateboard to the arcade instead. he spends too much of his time there, to the point where the attendee recognizes his bright red hair approaching for his daily token exchange. the only difference this time is he didn’t come alone. “i can’t believe you’ve never been here before.” there’s genuine disbelief in his voice when she gave him that piece of information, and ushi almost immediately dragged her to the arcade in guise of it being part of his job. “how are you with hoops?”

he stares at his watch and his watch stares back. or at least the cartoon pig with the time-telling hands is, and it’s telling him that it’s been fifteen minutes since raven promised to be back. he usually patrols by himself, but after an earful from raven about not being able to stand the bar without him, she has made it clear that’s no longer the case. “was traffic that bad?” he asks sarcastically upon feeling her presence, finger tapping in mock impatience at the watch on his wrist. “you know peppa doesn’t like waiting.”

“would it really bother you all that much to get dressed for halloween? it’s once a year, not that i bug you to come with me to every other party i attend, just this one time, i really need you around.” the female sighed as she glanced over at the other person, quite honestly a little upset that they couldn’t do this for her once. yumi never asked other people for favours unless she really had to, mostly because she had her sisters. she would have for sure asked yoona or eunha but both of them were busy. one with some term paper or essay and yoona had to work. none of them could join her but celebrating halloween on her own, going on a party on her own was lonely. a frustrated sigh slipped past her lips as she glanced over. “just.. i don’t know. i’ll do anything but just this once go with me ad not just as yourself but a little dolled up.”
