Hey guys I wanted to ask anyone here who has read the books, Do the books ever name Rüdiger and Anna’s parents? Because according to half of the sources ive read from, they are orphans who were taken in by their great aunt and great uncle Hildegard and Ludwig and were raised alongside their cousin Lumpi and they dont know where their parents are or what happened to them, the other half say that Hildegard and Ludwig ARE their parents and Lumpi is their older brother (which is what the 2000 & 2017 movies are based on), but I also cant help but wonder if maybe its a “Madea’s Big Happy Family” situation where like maybe aunt Dorthy had them but couldn’t raise them herself or something so she asked Hildegard and Ludwig to raise them and she became sort of a “whatever their equivalent of vodka is Aunt” but I dont actually know so I would appreciate it if you guys could let me know so i could work on one of my H.C’s.

Imagine Lumpi and Jörg taking Rüdiger, Anna and Anton to an actual Haunted House. Not one of those goofy little fun fair ones like the one they had in “Neue Abenteure” but like an ACTUAL Haunted House like with haunt actors and all that spooky stuff. I myself think that it would originally be Lumpi and Jörg’s idea to take them there because they think it would be funny to watch the kids get scared out of their wits especially Anton, but then they get there and Anton has explained the rules of the haunt (both spoken and unspoken) and they’re half way through and Anton is the only one not freaking out and Lumpi and Jörg are freaking out the most. I think it would be funny if they get jumpscared and then both teams of vampires (Anna with Rüdiger and Lumpi with Jörg) pulled the scooby doo thing and one of them jumps into the others arms and Anton only jumps slightly and then snickers at his friends and then Anton decides to hold Anna’s hand the rest of the haunt. I think Anton would be the kind of Haunt Guest that gets jumpscared but then jokes with the haunt worker (like actual jokes), Rüdiger would be the kind that gets jumpscared and then takes off running and then denies it when the others finally catch up with him, Anna would be the one appreiating the decor and costume design and then gets jumpscared because she was distracted, Lumpi would be what is referred to by haunt workers as “A Screamer” (basically screamers would get scared and scream very loudly and then take off running while screaming so the guest you think of when you think of a haunted house) and Jörg would be a “betrayer” (“sacrifices” the scaredy cat of the group to the actors) and an accidental swinger. I think Anton would have to remind all of them that most of the things there are props and aren’t real. And theres this thing that you can sometimes do with a haunt and sort of betray one or two of the people in your group by telling the haunt worker at the door their names before you go in and then the haunt worker will pass the names throughout the haunt via walkie talkie or something and then the actors will be calling out to them and I think it would be hilarious if Anton and Rüdiger pulled this on Jörg (and Lumpi) for scaring them at the fun fair haunted house.
