One of the main reasons I stayed with YouTube for so long was because Twitch always barred smaller channels from streaming at higher resolutions and framerates in the past, something that no longer holds true. I recently learned that even new channels can stream at 720p / 60fps! Score!

My second major reason was that streaming to YouTube directly benefits the channel. That hasn’t changed, but it’s now easier than ever for me to record my streams and upload them directly to YouTube, so there’s still going to be plenty of content.

Regular video uploads to YouTube are also going to continue!!
