Today's character spotlight is not a member of the court, but a recurring visitor to the kingdom, recognized by the locals as LS or ‘The Flash Merchant’.
LS is a wanderer who has bought, sold, and seen things far beyond anything that you can imagine. He is often recognizable by his long flowing blue cape and staff that contains a mysterious stone at the top. The stone allows him to teleport short distances, making him there and gone in the blink of an eye. No one except LS is really sure how it works.
LS often visits the kingdom to peddle his wares or trade with the local magic shop proprieter Moot. It's best not to inquire too deeply about where any of their stock comes from.
LS moves fast and deals in bargains, making him surprisingly good at judging both things and people. He is observant, careful about who he deals with, and cares more about his customers than he might let on.
LS believes in honorable practices, and is a favorite among the locals for his mysterious wares and fairness. He has a good partnership with Moot, while Prince Punkish finds him intriguingly infuriating. Morale Officer Act 2 finds him fascinating and always asks to see his wares although he never buys anything. The rest of the court regards him with careful acceptance, knowing to always be wary of LS' goods and the good or bad they can bring.
