Hey! As a radfem, how do you tackle people asking your pronouns (especially irl where you can't just ignore the question)? Since I started rejecting aesthetic femininity, people constantly assume I must be nonbinary or something and I never know how to respond to this in a way that reflects my true beliefs without causing all out war
Well. The only way I "follow" femininity is by liking my hair long, but this alone seems to keep the pronouns question away most of the time.
But not always. When I'm asked, I simply say that "nah, I'm just a woman", that I "don't care", or that I don't "bother with having a gender" nor "the way people talk about me".
I keep the joyful energy and get to pass as the fun and weird one.
(For me the hard part is to not dwell on the fact that to them "she" means "girly" and that it irritates me)
How's life? U good?
Oh my first ask ! OwO Welcome ! ^^ Feeling overwelmed by all the bad news in the world right now.. except that I'm pretty much okay !
Hope you're good too
