US Open Day 1: Is your golf style up to par?
Today marks the start of the 2011 US Open held at Congressional Country Club. The Maryland golf course will not only feature the top golf players, but also serve as a runway for this yearâs golf style.

Fred Couplesâ Ecco golf shoes
What do you think about these new âhipâ golf shoes? Too trendy for the country club? Couples has turned into quite the trendsetter sporting these shoes on the greens. I, however, prefer the traditional looking golf shoe. The Ecco shoes look like they belong in a skatepark, not at a country club!

Will the stereotypical argyle sweater ever go out of style on the golf course? Tiger Woods donned the argyle sweater look in 2009âs Presidentâs Cup. Although we wonât see Woods at this yearâs US Open, will the argyle sweater continue its legacy on the green?

With many golfers today outfitted in short-sleeved shirts and khaki pants, how many players will break the mold and stand out in a pair of colored pants? I have high hopes to see a player wearing my all time favorite Nantucket Red pants, but any color will do! Itâs time to spruce up those greensâŚ
