ok I loved The Last Jedi but I was just listening to the soundtrack again and it will forever bug me that they didn’t use Luke’s theme for the moment where he steps out onto the battlefield on Crait
like...this is Luke’s hero moment. If there was any moment in literally the entire sequel trilogy to use Luke’s theme, this is it. And they just...didn’t? It’s just some sort of generic triumphant sounding theme that doesn’t even appear anywhere else in the movie.Â
like...why? I am confused. John Williams is usually spot-on in the way he uses character themes.Â
And I feel A New Hope and End Credits in this Chili’s tonight...
I think the point when I realized how much I desperately wanted to see the movie again was when Lukes theme came on at the end when Rey handed him the lightsaber, yeah that really sealed the movie
