Same in Spain. I bought most of my groceries a week ago (before the alarm and quarantine) and I have plenty of stock to last a couple of weeks. But I am hearing a lot of crazy things: my sister works in a supermarket and a client screamed at her because chicken was sold out (there were other kinds of meat available).
Yeah. I get that uncertainty makes people stressed and scared because we as society have become so complacent and certain nothing can go wrong... but it makes me dread a scenario where something *actually* goes to shit. Not trying to undermine the gravity of this situation but... this is honestly a reasonably minor crisis (so far, anyway) all things considered.
