Was reading Myths, Gods, and Fantasy by Pamela Alladice and came across the Peryton entry. I can't seem to find any other source stating that about its antlers growing back. I have The Book of Imaginary Beings by Jorge Luis Borges and reread the entry in case I missed something, but no, he doesn't mention regenerating antlers. I looked in Myths, Gods, and Fantasy's biography and Borges' book is nowhere to be seen. Of course it is possible that one of the books she referenced referenced Borges and this is all just a huge circle, but it would be nice to finally find another source about the Peryton. Word of caution though Pamela seems to have somewhat inaccurate information regarding certain creatures, so I'm not sure if she just added this feature to the Peryton.
