In the folklore of Trinidad and Tobago, the Lagahoo is a type of lycanthrope, which appears as a normal person by day, but transforms at night into a horrifying, headless man with a coffin chained to its neck.

The Lagahoo can change into the shape of many animals, including horses, pigs and goats. It can also change its size. The Lagahoo subsists on blood, and will often attack farm animals for sustenance. It can only be killed by being beaten with a blessed stick.
