about the cops vs mud wizard
i appreciate that the footage of cops stuck in mud getting pushed over by that monk/wizard is going around the globe and leaving german internet spheres but i also want everyone to know the context behind it.
its from a massive protest against the destruction of a small town to mine coal underneath it. news say the town is now completely razed and the last activists who were hiding in a tunnel system have been removed.
the deal to allow this was signed by germany's so called green party. their office in düsseldorf has been like taken over for a day in protest. the way the party decided, the way police AND the energy company's own 'rescue team' have been employed to remove activists, it all speaks for itself.
the whole thing is such a perfect illustration for capital. its been honestly driving me mad with anger but at least we got the funny videos of cops stuck in mud
