    Wendy stared in horror as she watched the Celestial Spirit Mage slowly fall towards the ground, the gaping hole in her abdomen profusely bleeding. The thump against the rough terrain was deafening to her keen ears, somehow turning a familiar sound into a harsh sound.

    Blood. Blood everywhere. That was all she seemed able to see as she knelt beside the dying girl. Tears freely falling, Wendy could hardly see as she tried to steady her rattling fingers and call up her healing magic. 

    The grip of a clammy hand prevented the magic from flowing out of her. Eyes racing up to meet with Lucy-san's, Wendy saw the almost imperceptible shake of her head. Words didn't need to be expressed; the blonde had come to terms with what was happening and wanted to gracefully walk away with death.

    Heart torn in two, Wendy debated whether to succumb to her selfish desires or respect the older female's wishes. A ragged gasp escaped Lucy-san's lips, halting Wendy's train of thought. With the last shadow of a smile directed towards the bluenette, Lucy-san departed the world, now happily being reunited with her parents.

    Wendy couldn't accept this. Over and over, she summoned forth her healing magic, as if it could somehow bring back the dead.

"You can't leave us Lucy-san!! What's going to happen to Natsu-san? To Levy-san?? To the entire guild?! We need you!!"
