Oxjam last night was good. Hitomi played their new songs and the rest of the bands were good too. Well done chaps! All proceeds to charity! :) 

Now it's Sunday morning, my ears are still ringing ever so slightly and I'm yawning a little bit. We didn't even stay out all that late last night, just generally ended up standing about until 12ish in various places after the gig was over at Lucorum.

Lucorum's closest definition: Helix lucorum is a species of large, edible, air-breathing land snail or escargot, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Helicidae, the typical snails. 

Well, I didn't know that until today. That Barnsley's most famous venue is named after something the French consider delicious but most consider a garden pest.
