She can work the best in silence and âtimelessnessâ, she likes big dogs, she is recharged the most if she travels even if for a day and she can turn her phone while doing so, according to her, potato stew with fasĂrt is the best dish because her grandmother makes it and it is âheavenlyâ!
DĂłri asztala/DĂłriâs table.
1. Milyen tĂpusĂș emlĂ©kek inspirĂĄlnak jobban: a jĂłk vagy a rosszak?/What kind of memories inspire you the most: good or bad ones? Nem emlĂ©kek inspirĂĄlnak, hanem tapasztalatok, helyzetek: lĂĄtok, gondolok egy szituĂĄciĂłra, Ă©s azon a szĂĄlon elindul a âproblĂ©mamegoldĂĄsâ, azaz a tervezĂ©s.
I am not inspired by memories but experiences, situations: I see or think about a situation and following that thread of thought the âproblem solvingâ, planning begins.
If you could reincarnate as a living or dead artist, who would you choose to be?
I donât want to be under the skin of any other artist because it is very likely that our thoughts couldnât get along.
3. Hogyan lendĂŒlsz tĂșl az idĆszakos alkotĂłi vĂĄlsĂĄgon?/How do you overcome a temporary artistic crisis? LeĂŒlök, Ă©s egymagamban idĆt töltök, csendben, Ă©s csak nĂ©zek magam elĂ©. A csendben szĂĄmot vetek a mĂșlt Ă©s jövĆbeli terveimrĆl, Ă©s Ășj lendĂŒletet tudok venni.
I sit down, I spend some time alone in silence and I just stare in front of me. In the quiet, I can think about my past and future plans and I can collect some momentum. I like this very much because it doesnât require any effort apart from time.
4. Kinek mutatod meg elĆször az Ășj munkĂĄdat?/Who sees your work first? ElĆször senkinek. A fiĂłkba/polcra elteszem Ă©s kĂ©sĆbb Ășjra elĆveszem, hogy önellenĆrzĂ©st vĂ©gezzek, Ă©s csak ezutĂĄn mutatom meg szakmabeli barĂĄtaimnak.
No one. I put them in my drawer on the shelf and later I take them out again to self-control my work and only then I show it to my friends in the profession.
5. Mi a legkedvesebb gyerekkori emlĂ©ked?/What is your favorite childhood memory? Közös csalĂĄdi nyaralĂĄsok, amikor mĂ©g a nyĂĄri szĂŒnetben nem tudtam, hĂĄnyat kell mĂ©g aludni a sulikezdĂ©sig, Ă©s fogalmam sem volt rĂłla, milyen nap van!
Summer holidays with the family, when I didnât know in the summer break how much I have to sleep until school starts again and I didnât know what day it was.
6. Mit Ă©rzel, amikor egy mĂĄsik mƱvĂ©sz a tiĂ©dhez hasonlĂł munkĂĄt kĂ©szĂt?/What do you feel when a fellow artist creates something similar to your work?
I feel that there is nothing new under the sun and if it happens to me I change my design a little bit because I would like to avoid even the semblance of copying and I expect the same attitude from other artists as well.
7. GyƱjtesz valamit?/Are you collecting something? InkĂĄbb prĂłbĂĄlok folyamatosan szelektĂĄlni, rengeteg a holmim, egy egĂ©sz mƱhelynyi alapanyag, kellĂ©k, eszköz, Ă©s ez nĂ©ha otthon is megjelenik.. Ăgy lĂĄtom, hogy a funkciĂłn felĂŒli tĂĄrgyak gyƱjtĂ©se felesleges. ĂlmĂ©nyeket, talĂĄn azokat mostanĂĄban szĂĄmon tartom, Ă©s igyekszem emlĂ©kezni rĂĄjuk.
I rather try to continuously select my stuff since I have a lot of them. A whole workshop of materials, accessories, tools, and sometimes these objects also appear in my home⊠I believe that collecting objects that are not functional is pointless. Experiences are things that I keep in my mind lately and I try to remember them.
8. Kedvenc budapesti pillanat?/Favorite Budapest moment? Ha lehull a hĂł a vĂĄrosra, Ă©s minden puhĂĄnak Ă©s szĂ©pnek lĂĄtszik tĆle.
When snow falls on the city making it look soft and beautiful.
9. Van-e napi rutinod?/Do you have a daily routine?
I would rather say I would have a routine, but since I am a freelancer things change all the time. Now I donât work into the night anymore. I got old for that.
10. Hogyan fogsz neki egy Ășj munkĂĄnak?/How do you get started on a new project?
I have a lot of ideas and sometimes some of them want to be realized so much that I start working on them right away. This is followed by making mock-ups and I canât rest until I didnât find the perfect shape.
11. Van egy jĂłl körĂŒlhatĂĄrolhatĂł hangulat, amikor könnyebb szĂĄmodra az alkotĂĄs?/Is there a particular mood that makes creating and working easier for you?
Silence and timelessness. If I keep looking at my watch I canât work properly.
12. Sör vagy bor?/Beer or wine? Bor. A sört keserƱnek talĂĄlom, Ă©s csak nagyon ritkĂĄn esik jĂłl, körĂŒlbelĂŒl Ă©vente egyszer.
Wine. I find beer bitter and I only like it once a year.
13. Kutya vagy macska?/Dog or cat? Kutya. Abból is a nagytestƱ.
Dog. The big ones.
14. Mit szeretnĂ©l kifejezni az alkotĂĄsaidon keresztĂŒl?/What would you like to express through your artwork? MinĆsĂ©g, forma Ă©s funkciĂł. Legyen esztĂ©tikus Ă©s hasznĂĄlhatĂł. EttĆl szerethetĆ Ă©s tartĂłs lesz az, amit tervezek. Nekem fontosabb, hogy sokĂĄig hordjĂĄk, szeretve a tĂĄskĂĄimat, mintsem hogy havonta vegyenek egy mĂĄsikat mert meguntĂĄk Ă©s egyĂ©bkĂ©nt is tönkrement mĂĄr a rĂ©gi.
Quality, shape, and function. It should be aesthetic and usable. This will make my designs loveable and durable. For me, it is more important that people wear my works for a long time loving these bags than they would keep buying new ones every month because they donât like them anymore and they are ruined anyways.
15. Milyen a stĂlusod?/What is your style like? Nem tudom megfogalmazni. Olyan, mint Ă©n.
I cannot put it into words. Itâs like me.
16. Mi az, ami a leginkåbb feltölt?/What can recharge you the most?
If I go somewhere at least for a day and I can turn my phone off.
17. Kedvenc våros?/Favorite city? Budapest, Milano, Barcelona.
Budapest, Milan, Barcelona. Â I know Budapest very well, in Milan men are amazingly chic, and Barce-lona is beautiful you just have to walk around.
18. Hol leszel 10 Ă©v mĂșlva?/Where will you be in 10 years? Itthon. RemĂ©lem, hogy azzal fogok tudni foglalkozni, ami boldoggĂĄ tesz.
Here, at home. I hope I will be able to do what I love.
19. Kedvenc Ă©tel?/Favorite food? KrumplifĆzelĂ©k fasĂrttal. Mert a nagymamĂĄm csinĂĄlja, Ă©s isssteni!
KrumplifĆzelĂ©k with fasĂrt (Hungarian potato stew with meatballs).  Because my grandmother makes it and it is heavenly!
20. Kedvenc Ă©vszak?/Favorite season? Ćsz. CsodĂĄlatos szĂnei vannak, Ă©s titokban ott rejlik benne a tavasz remĂ©nye.
Autumn. It has amazing colors and secretly it hides the hope for spring.
21. Mi a legrosszabb tulajdonsĂĄgod?/What is your worst characteristic? Makacs vagyok.
I am stubborn.
22. Melyik korban Ă©lnĂ©l szĂvesen?/In which era would you prefer to live in?
The womenâs fashion of the 1950âs is prettier than todayâs world of leggings but this doesnât mean I would live in the fifties.
23. Ha egyetlen tanĂĄcsot kellene adni mĂĄs, esetleg mĂ©g kezdĆ tehetsĂ©geknek, mi lenne az?/If you could give one piece of advice to someone else, maybe to a beginner talent, what would it be? Ne hagyja abba!
Donât stop!
------------------------------------- NĂVJEGY - JuhĂĄsz DĂłra:
âEgyre több dolog van mögöttem, Ă©s a hangsĂșlyok megvĂĄltoztak. Boldog vagyok, mert a szakmĂĄmban dolgozom, boldog vagyok, mert szeretem amit csinĂĄlok, boldog vagyok, hogy az egyetem Ă©s az utĂĄna következĆ Ă©vek olyan emberekkel sodortak össze, akikbĆl munkatĂĄrsak Ă©s barĂĄtok lettek. Sokat dolgozom, mindig dolgozom.
âI have more and more things behind me and the emphasis has also changed. I am happy to work in my profession, I am happy because I love what I do, and I am happy that my university and the following years have brought people in my life who became my friends and colleagues. I work a lot, I work all the time. I have my own brand under my own name (juhaszdora), I am doing a brand partially under my name (Lucky SHEPERD Designer Store). I am happy because I can do it the way I want to do it.â
