My first thought was the flute, but I love the idea of her playing the cello ! I think that it can go two distinct ways with Chloé’s character: she either knows how to play an instrument really well or she’s basically tone deaf with it. I’m kind of torn between poorly playing the recorder or being really good at the cello. The recorder because it’s that basic instrument kids get taught, and it’s sort of super annoying. The cello because it’s so elegant and classy. The cello would most likely have to be restricted to a band/music au, however, because it’s such a big instrument and would take a lot of dedication and effort. Unless her playing the cello delves into how she can get super lonely sometimes and it’s something of a hidden quirk, along with all of her fascination on beauty and Ladybug. One thing I’m pretty set on is that Chloé has at least attempted to learn how to play the piano. She and Adrien can probably do one piece together really well but other than that, she’s doesn’t put enough effort into it to really know how to play.
