Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β ~~ This was becoming ridiculous.
Β Β Β Why is it that every time he decided to step foot outside of Camp Half-blood, some freak out there would take that as an invitation to try and kill him?
Β Β Β Unbelievable.
Β Β Β The one time he had hoped nothing would go awry, so that he could take some time off as a hero- Of course, it had to be the complete opposite. And in Paris, at that. This class field-trip was certainly going to be an exciting one, at least, that much he knew.
Β Β Β He had been stupid to think that their bus-ride to the Eiffel Tower was going to be a peaceful one- Especially after the freak accident that happened just after they had left the airport the previous day. When traffic began to build up all around them, Percy had even thought nothing of it, assuming that it was just regular rush hour. However, he would be proven wrong when an unmistakable roar sounded off in the distance, causing for him to straighten up from his seat and remove his ear-bud.
Β Β Β In the seconds that followed, his sea-green orbs would find their way over towards the girl seated next to him, who also happened to be the only other demigod on the trip besides himself.
Β Β Β Marinette Dupain-Cheng.
Β Β Β They had been in the same french class for the past two semesters and it had only been recently that he found out she was also a child of a god. Aphrodite, to be more precise, though he could tell that from the moment he had to face a monster with her on school grounds, due to the way she had looked even after having helped him fend off the grotesque beast.
Β Β Β βYou hear that too?β The son of Poseidon asked under his breath, his face darkening slightly, as he reached a hand into his back pocket. The familiar feel of his pen would brush against his fingertips and Percy would pull it out, readying himself to click it, just in case the source of said roar were to pop up out of nowhere.
Β Β Β And as much as he liked to ignore it and pretend that everything was okay- He knew he couldnβt. They were trained for stuff like this and honestly, he had grown accustomed to it by now. So, all he could do then was let out an annoyed sigh and rise from his seat, gesturing for the girl to do so, as well.
Β Β Β βSo, you wanna be the one to lie to the teacher, or should I?β
