I see what you're getting at, but I also think it's important from a character standpoint to explain it how Greg would. Would Greg know to talk about brains and things of that nature? He's still pretty immature at that point in the episode and moreover not terribly educated. Would saying something like that be something he would think of? I'm not so sure myself.
Yeah, that’s why I said that I should just roll with it, that some people are bad at explaining things like this to people outside the understanding/culture of it and that I get that it wasn’t the point the show was rolling towards anyway. Plus, you know, he was just coming down from the panic of worrying about baby Sour Cream and climbing up after him and almost dying, so he wasn’t thinking at his best! My complaint wasn’t a criticism of the show, it’s entirely possible it’s a choice I would have made as a writer as well! But it still frustrates me because I’ve seen it in many shows before and I just want to sit people down and explain it properly because the explanations are fairly straightforward.
