hear me out folks… Daemon Noctis

so we can take elements from the OMEN trailer of course, at first he has no idea what the fuck is going on. daemons keep following him, his actions don’t follow his thoughts. people around him seemingly vanishing, noctis refusing to sleep because things just aren’t adding up. his own insomnia helps with that but when he does succumb he manages to wake up miles away. though that’s just the beginning of the turn. as days pass, the black ooze we see usually starts leaking from his eyes, under his fingernails and any open wound he has. it only seems to pour out faster as his emotional state worsens. as we saw with Ravus, he’s suffering, his entire body is on fire and every slash he takes from the gang is only making him angrier. we can put this onto Noct as well. because as we know he has a back issue due to the attack he sustained when he was a child. this is still a terrible problem for him, being pushed in the back in combat makes him stumble and even getting a massage in Galdin Quay causes him to have a panic. so as his body flairs in pain, his back does so as well, 10 times what it usually would, allowing the daemonization to take an easier hold on him. to rid himself of the pain means to bend to its will. of course we’re not just talking physical pain either. having given into the darkness means he has given up his role as the King of Kings. the prophecy will never come true and its due to him feeling weak. he wasn’t strong enough to fight on his own. he’s never going to be the king his dad was, the strength he contains is minuscule in comparison to threats such as Ardyn and his army. hes often found mumbling to himself , apologizing to ghosts that plague his mind daily. to his friends he drove off, to those which lives he took without knowing.
