What do you do when you see someone that looks like someone from one of your video games? Of course, you assume that they’re simply dressing up as the character, but what if it goes beyond that point and they actually look like the real deal? It was a dilemma Chiaki thought she wouldn’t ever encounter.
First time for everything, she supposes.
At first, she’s hesitant to approach them, but she trails behind as they walk down the street. She has her Game Girl Advance and holds it close to her face every once in a while too look like she’s playing, but really, it’s to make sure they don’t notice that she’s been staring at them for a while now.
Once their about to turn the corner, Chiaki finally gets the courage to get their attention. She quickens her pace and tries to call out to them. “Excuse me. Sorry, um...” She falls quiet, pondering on what she should say. She wanted to say all sorts of compliments and ask how they got their costume and prop to look so exact like the character’s. She also wanted to find out if maybe, just maybe, this is the character right in front of her eyes.
That would be so cool...!
“Um... Your costume is really good. It’s like you came straight out of the game.”
