An angel has fallen in the fields...

Ok so, RT is Lucifer fallen. He's been around for thousands of years. Kicked out of heaven for not liking the mortals that walked the earth.

He's seen kingdoms come and go, the rise of societies and their ultimate end. This adds to his hatred for humans, he sees them as leaches on the earth.

He stays hidden.

Sometimes alone.

Sometimes in plain sight of the ones he seeks to end.

Eventually he makes it to the modern age. They've expanded so much he can no longer hide alone, and now he must live among them.

He watches the humans create new technology, and how they use it to worsen their own lives. He tries to live without their tech, but has to come around in order to thrive in this new era.

He comes across Twitch. He thinks its amusing, he sees it as a gallery of human idiocy. Eventually finding actual enjoyment out of it, picking favorites out of the thousands of mortals on there. And soon enough, picking it up himself.

This is how he meets The Irish Lads. Finding mortals he enjoys the company of, while still keeping his Godliness a secret.

When Dan had fallen, he was still angelic. Fully.

However it seems over the years, something has begun to change in him. His feathers falling out, and his distaste for humans changing to intrigue.

He learned how to tempt humans. At one point, it was important for his survival in human societies.

While angels looked down at him, and avoided him. Demons welcomed him with open arms. A temptation in its own right.

Dan is terrified of what might happen if he's found out. He's spent so long on earth that he's grown to enjoy it. With the help of streaming, he's even begun to enjoy the mortals inhabiting it too.

Heaven is a finnicky thing, you can serve your sentence if you are banished, but you will return to Heaven. Permanently. However if you slip up once more, a second banishment is eradication.

There is no way around it, other angels that had fallen after Dan, found that it is easier to lay low if you wish to stay on Earth.

Dan had to learn this on his own, other angels avoided him if he came across them.

The God that rules Heaven uses Earthly knowledge to keep track of his fallen angels. The more humans know of that angels "godliness", the easier it is to be tracked. It can take up to ten humans to know before an angel is found.

Hence why Dan is so worried about keeping his state of being a secret.

Would it be so bad if the Irish Lads found out?

Dan has had many jobs, but he's only enjoyed three.

First: He was a painter, small time, but recognizable.

He had clients here and there, nothing too extravagant. Dan found his love of creation during this period in his life.

Second: A well known poet.

He had fans.

This was the first time he witnessed proper fan behavior, how they idolized him, put him on a pedestal. Dan didn't like it to an extent. What he enjoyed from this experience was how people reacted to his work, he wanted to improve because of the humans for once.

Third: A streamer.

He's changed so much, that he can properly enjoy this job. He no longer finds humans disgusting, he finds them endearing.

Streaming allows a direct connect to mortals, all while concealing what he is. He doesn't even have to show his face!

In this era people make art of him, have fun in his chat, and make friends with one another.
