for every child luc and his darling have, darling plants an entire garden of flowers in their honor so that they could all have individual gardens to frolic and play around in—but given that darling’s particularly generous with the size of each garden, they more or less end up creating one gigantic garden filled with flowers of all kinds. cue many days spent in said massive garden where luc and his darling regularly get swarmed by their children holding flowers they picked determined to put all of them in their parents’ hair—so much so that by the end of it their hair almost completely disappears from the amount of flowers their kids have put.

i can also see their children actively working together to organize a flower-filled “wedding” for luc and darling when they find out their parents merely got together without any sort of ceremony (they were busy overthrowing a tyrant god to really have a ceremony of any kind, after all) and cheering and clapping when they kiss at the end of their little ceremony <3

Now I'm just getting the image of Reader and Luc being caught in a tough situation, and Luc going, if we make it through this, let's get married which isn't really the most romantic of proposals, but they're in the middle of a fight that they might not live through, and Reader obviously says yes.

Of course, they do end up living, and the ensuing ceremony is hasty and devoid of frivolity. Reader wears the nicest clothes they own, ones which aren't stained with blood or grime, and there's a short, simple ceremony where they trade vows and exchange rings, and a small reception where the food isn't the rations that they've been living on for the past few months.
