there's a discord for a lil league I made for my friends and I to compete at the new york times mini crossword and we use the 🐌 emoji to represent when someone has fucked up.
we call him the L snail.
I've been collecting various pictures of snails for years for this purpose.
for birthdays
for when someone does really well on a mini
and for when something is rad (etc etc etc)
I've been slowly integrating the snail into my workplace as well, for when someone doesn't type something fast enough.
I love this lil guy so much and I hope the feeling is shared. love you all.
