Seeing p/rettysheepy get an anti-v-day anon really got under my skin. Because I wish I could be laissez-faire about access to romance, that would be great. Yet years of dysphoria means having to fix the damage caused by it, making dating impractical at best (toxic at worst). Seeing somebody be so dismissive (not them the anon) just galls me.

Hopefully one day I'll see flowers on valentines as cliche and tired, but right now it would mean everything to me. Until then, I've just got to keep working on myself (and waiting for HRT to do the rest). With luck I'll be trying to date again in late '27.
