hi there!!! I wanted to thank you so much for organizing the SDCC Carol Corps meetup! Really, if there's anything at all I can do to be of assistance, please please let me know. Though I had a quick question about the location--are we sure that the stairs selected don't require a pass? (I'm one of the people who missed out on Friday.) I know the Marvel photoshoot is taking place on the "Mezzanine steps" and they're saying it's a badge only area. Please reassure this first time SDCC goer!
I'm pretty sure they're not blocked off. The TOP part of the stairs is only accessible from within the convention center and does require a badge (that's usually where the marvel photoshoot is) but the bottom flight of stairs does not require a badge and in previous years people tend to hang out/sit on them.
If I get there on Wednesday and they've completely blocked the stairs off this year I'll scout out a new location and make a post about it/have kelly reblog it so hopefully everyone sees it. I'll even tape a sign to the wall :)
Re: the flying question: I think the best thing is that you're going a long distance! The small puddle jumper planes are much more likely to be uncomfortable/have smaller seats than the larger planes that go the longer distances. I think you'll be fine! Hope you two have a nice, relaxing flight!
