♠ - What are they afraid of?

There actually aren’t that many things Saruhiko is afraid of. But the most he’s probably afraid of is being ‘useless’ to Misaki, and/or being ‘replaced’. As much often as he tells his friend that he won’t always be there for him, he’s secretly afraid of being replaced. He’s afraid Misaki’s going to find a better translator for him that’ll actually care for him, and he’s afraid that the position of being Misaki’s “Best Friend” is also going to be replaced by someone else. Saruhiko knows Misaki isn’t the type to just easily replace his friends (nor the type that replaces people in general because he’s too nice), but he can’t help but think one day he’s going to be left behind.

As much as Misaki needs Saruhiko, Saruhiko needs Misaki as well.
