The game she played with him for week’s on end. It had never gone over two week’s. Mostly because she could have never kept herself away from him for so long. The bickering turned endearing some how.
The way his eye’s seemed to flash towards her when she showed.
The SOFT (for him) text messages made her smile at her phone.
A simple touch of his hand against her skin would send her reeling for hours on end.
How was someone so fucking, HONORABLE, LOYAL, (handsome was not a word she was going to look too close at either) FASCINATING, like him going to ever like someone as remotely worth his time like herself. She was an ALPHA sure.
That was something entirely different.
She could barely keep herself cleaning. Keep herself from doing thing’s she knew wouldn’t be RESPECTABLE for someone who was his EQUAL.
But she had fucked up this time. She had stayed away for three week’s, almost a month. Enough time for her to see, she couldn’t spend whatever this life she had, without him.
Not that she was going to admit it out right to him, not unless she needed too. He should know, right?
That’s what lead her here, to this spot. The little pub that he had taken her too all those, year’s? Months? It felt like such a long time.
Finger’s moving through gold tresses, smoothing them down from the train ride here. She should have gotten a place to stay washed up first. Maybe tried to look presentable.
The faded holy jean’s and stretched out tank top with her leather jacket just didn’t seem her enough. Hair messy from not being kept up with for a couple day’s thrown around from the wind she was sure he wouldn’t recognize her. Not to mention the black eye that hadn’t healed over right, the busted lip that she probably still had some dried blood on. A rib or two was broken slowly healing, she wasn’t going to take off her jacket either to have him found out all the other nasty little marks she had on her body from her time away.
Not like he’d notice right?
Yeah he wouldn’t. That’s why she went inside, sat in the farthest darkest corner she could find to wait. Her phone was dead so even if she wanted to call him, she couldn’t. Damn thing was useless right now. Not that it mattered, she was sure the moment she found him she could call Iarla who could call Artem and they could figure out a way to get her back.
But all that matters now is she would wait for him, for however long she needed too.
@loyalbones wanted a spicy starter.
