I apologize in advance if anybody has already noticed this because the fandom is huge and I'm not really planning on joining/delving super deep into the fandom. But basically this guy:

is the only other person to have their face cupped by Ambessa besides this lovely lady—rest in two pieces love

Two people, who in a show with a startling amount of facial diversity, look very similar. Aka they may be siblings (twins?) and Local Cuisine fled to the one place he may never be recognized, the Undercity of Piltover 

(Also note his accent, it's rather posh sounding for the Undercity so he may have been raised with a higher social status in life with an education before Ambessa came in like a Noxian wrecking ball)

Also, Local Cuisine was first seen hanging out with this cutie smoking in the brothel

Who are wearing masks of a LoL/Runeterra character(s) named Kindred

With the white mask being Wolf (Local Cuisine) and the black mask being Lamb (who’s mask doesn't actually resemble a Lamb, but rather a fox). Cue important Ambessa quotes:

"But mark me, child, if you want to last in this world, you must learn to be both the fox and the wolf."  —Kindred is already doing that Ambessa

"A wolf has no mercy."  —Yeah the Wolf counterpart of Kindred has anger issues

"She's a symbol of the old regime, kill her now and only one must die. Let her live and you may need to kill thousands."  —Kill a Noxian warlord, save thousands of lives

"-But if you don't accept certain realities, I fear you'll end up like General Parlec (Parlac? Parlack??), slaughtered, with your eyes closed."  —Having a literal wolf in your bed is another way to end up slaughtered, with your eyes closed

So tl;dr: Our Local Cuisine and his partner from the brothel are Kindred, which would make them Arcane users, and may be doing a long con to assassinate Ambessa for personal reasons (Wolf being livid that his sister was killed) and for political reasons (Ambessa is a war lord with war profiting on her mind, and killing her before she gets her hands on Hextech could save thousands from Noxian imperialism.)

So basically I have no evil agenda against the ship itself, especially since it was pretty noticeable that it was going to be end game in some form (even if I hate the trope of “main male character ends up with the main female character”), but man it was just fleshed out so horribly in :re that I just feel nothing for it and I feel bad for my friends who do ship it who wish that it had gotten the development that the story kept hinting at, but ultimately was dropped just like the rest of the of the plot in :re

Basically I’m just disappointed that they went from teenage-crush levels to irresponsible sex, to pregnancy, to marriage in 7 chapters. That’s just bad writing and pacing honestly. And they still haven’t actually talked about some deep rooted issues lying on either side and it’s just a whole box of disappointment 

And as for Kaneki’s relationship status, I was hoping that Kaneki wouldn’t end up with anyone since he has a lot of baggage to sort through and organize and while it can be nice to have somebody support you while you go through Emotional Damage Upheavals™ I’m certainly not a fan of a.) putting your entire mental welfare on a person or b.) depression miraculously vanishes once you’re in a relationship, both of which this ship dangerously teeters over.

But, if I did have to pick somebody it would probably be Banjou (this got long so I put it under a cut but I do gotta share this picture it’s so pure)
