The black girl who is hurting The black girl who has been at lost The black girl who struggle thru life The black girl who haven’t had a chance to grow. The black girl haven’t come out of the comfort zone in the same place. The black girl who have dreams and want to make them come true. The black girl who have some some unwise decisions. The black girl who is creative but limited due to worry about other people. This black girl feel stuck because she have to please her people instead of herself. This black girl have a lot of potentials that everyone sees. This black girl need to love herself This black girl need to be free! Now this black girl became Melanated womxn. She look back times at her mistakes. She learned to adjust something that she never experienced. New experiences change her life. She pick up her pieces of her heart Knowing things will change. Why do you care so much? Why? You tell me to get the fuck over you, then care about who the fuck I'm hanging out with. Then bash my friends when I'm finally happy having Real friends. When I'm just trying to get through the fucking day, you find out who I'm talking to or who I'm making plans with and then decide to yell at me or give me attitude for having a fucking social life finally! Why? You tell me to move on from you, find people to talk to so I don't go to you when I need help, which I finally am able to do, then you decide to step in yourself! I don't want you to tell me you still love me, because if you do, I'm going to just get pulled right back into loving you again and being scared. Scared of not being able to be the person I am. Because the girl I've become the girl that is doing better in her life now, does not want change, she doesn't want sadness or depression anymore. She hates waking up to nightmares every night.
