This piece mimics how food is sexualized in media and makes the audience realize how irritating and unnecessary is that, with its flashy colors, and repetitive patterns that bother the eyes. Through making of this piece, however, I also wanted to shed a light on the fact that sexual pleasure and eating trigger the same spots in brain; perhaps it’s not wrong that these come together; showing the process of nourishing oneself, as a form of “Lust”.
