Another Natural Wonder post. So I came upon that gorgeous snail shell & realized the snail still lived there & was having his morning repast…a little fungi breakfast. I did not realize that snails ate fungi. I walked around to grab a shot from a different angle & saw what you see in the second pic. Upon closer inspection, it appeared that either the snail, after his mushroom entree, wanted slug for dessert or … he skipped the main course altogether & went straight for the slug. My thinking is this: All that bumpily snail stuff could not fit into that smallish snail shell. The bottom part looks more sluggish than snailish. And yeah…I shoulda picked it up & checked it out.
