'we all die alone.' - thea ( @lovest0rie ) for jesse pinkman
ALONE. A word that had entered his vocabulary at a far too young age. He had known its meaning for a long, long time. Throughout his existence, he'd tried not to hold any resentment towards the fact that he, in fact, was alone - or at least, felt lonely. Don't people say 'it is what it is' when situations go beyond their control ? Yes, well, that was pretty much Jesse's everyday life. And yet, it didn't seem like he had learned his lesson just yet. He continued wearing his heart on his sleeve, continued to care for others more than he cared for his own well being (which kept deteriorating with the use of pretty much anything he could snort. That was why those words cut deeper than they should have.
"Yeah ... " the blond man sighed, soon concealing the expressions of sadness on his face with a scoff. "Why'd you get all gloomy or whatever, that's like, totally killing the vibes, yo." He'd rather not talk about that sort of stuff. Because he knew that, would he begin, he might end up trapped in an endless loop with no way out. Raising a brow, he caught the joint between his teeth, the other hand looking for the lighter stuffed inside the pocket of his baggy jeans. "Take a drag, you'll get more fun." the young dealer managed to articulate, throwing a glance in Thea's direction, dreading any trace of her will to have a serious conversation instead.
