One of my absolute closes friends and I personally had such a blast creating this sonic landscape together. So, thank you Levi! ~ To be candid, my goal releasing music is NOT fame or fortune. It’s NOT to be the greatest songwriter of all time. It’s NOT to be the most popular internet sensation. 😂 My goal has become simple and clear; To create music that moves you, the listener, and points you to Jesus. Out of that goal, I will write with excellence, I will record with excellence, I will perform with excellence, but most importantly I will continue to love as He loves and commanded us believers to love. So I will share His Word and create illuminating soundscapes of song & story that reflect His hand in my life in order to show the hope and love of Christ working through the Holy Spirit. Love you guys! ~ “Love So Strange” is about the internal relationship with ourselves, the struggle to grow our character in Christ as wisdom speaks back to us guiding and directing our character growth to accomplish the God given ambitions of our hearts. It’s about a love with ourselves that’s so overlooked, but so important. It’s a personal inventory of where we were and how far we’ve come; “Love so strange, what have we got to show it?”. It’s unsettled like the continued struggle to let the carnel man in us die daily while Christ changes us to be more like Himself. It’s a journey, a sometimes painful process of transformation, but ultimately we become our greatest selves and who we were meant to be in the first place. That’s just it, our worlds are already upside down, and God is turning us right side up to how things were intended to be in the first place. ~ I want to also thank @distrokid for creating a simply fantastic platform for artists to share their music with the world.
