So many people are stuck on this ideal about how love is enough. But without the “is enough" because love is often in the form of an ‘assumptional hope’. Something grand, something majestically beautiful and so powerful that it can ‘fix’ or ‘work’ anything out. But that’s wrong. Love’s not enough. Love is just love. And sometimes it’s not. The thing is, love is different for everyone, because everyone is different. People think, that if someone loves them, then it’ll all be okay. “Because if you love me, you wouldn’t do this to me." But that your love, not theirs. People can’t “love" you the way you want them to, because they might not know that capacity of love. They don’t know how. Lots of reasons why they can’t love you the way you want them to. Can you teach them? You can try. Girls do it all the time. Thinking they can ‘save’ someone or change them.
