Victorian Gothic Furniture Set - Sims 2 Conversion
I have had requests to convert items from The Sims 2, and I noticed this set while looking to see what the furniture was like.
By ADELE, the Victorian Gothic set includes these pieces, plus some other items which I don't really like - so, sorry (not sorry), I've just done these three pieces.
Living chair, chaise longue, and a loveseat!
The set had hardwired cushions, and originally I included each swatch on the seats' files; I actually don't really like them that much, so I also made an invisible swatch, so one could put whatever they want..... HOWEVER, I eventually decided just to make the cushions separate - so you can just add them if you want them, and it makes the swatch selection A LOT easier 😂
Just like my other Living chairs, I have put my own tuning there, so your small pets can sit alone on the chair if they want to!!
In addition to converting the pieces from The Sims 2, I spent a lot of time trying to improve the meshes; I puffed up the seat part a bit, and I tried to round out and smooth all the wood and fabric as much as I could. The Sims 2 obviously having lower graphics than The Sims 4!
Each piece has eight swatches; the first six of these are the originals from ADELE, and the last two are my recolours. I really liked the red, and so I wanted a similar one in green; then I decided I should do a white as well!

As a cat lover, I looove the idea of cats having their own furniture, so I decided to make some from the chaise longue!
There's two different sizes, and have the same swatches as the human-sized versions 😍
I have been bursting at the seams to release these!!
I do have lots of other converted items as well, some I'm not quite done with - so not sure when they'll be released.
