               WARMTH.  He  didn’t  feel  much  of  it  himself,  besides  the  obvious  RUSH  OF  BLOOD  keeping  his  body  temperature  to  a  standard.  He  runs  hot.       Dexter  let  out  a  breath,  watching  the  black  strands  of  her  hair  tucked  under  his  chin  shift.      ❝ GOOD. ❞     Is  he  warm  to  others?  Or  do  they  see  the  cold-blooded  creature  encased  in  the  feverish  MEAT  SUIT  named  Dexter?

           “  yeah,  fucking love it.  ”     sarcasm is dripping from every word,  but the truth is that she gets what lila’s trying to say ;   it may not be the sound per se,  for debra,  but there’s just something about trains that make you feel like you’re in a liminal place and the world outside doesn’t quite matter.   she just doesn’t want to have a deep,  philosophical discussion with lila of all people.
