Hi. My name is Shawnee Norman and I am unsure of who I should address this to in order for it to get where it needs to go.

I have recently found out that Taylor Swift has been denied the right to play any of her old music in any event that may be recorded.

This is wrong.

She is not in a studio, with a professional sound system and mixer to record CDs. Live events are a much different ball game. They are generally recorded by fans or are recorded at an award show and are only streamed for the performance itself over platforms like Youtube. Not for purpose of recording the musical content itself.

Which brings us to situation number one. Taylor Swift is being named Artist of the Decade this year and.... Cannot perform any of the music that contributed to her becoming artist of the decade because the event will air on television? That sounds horrible and not okay in the least bit. You are taking all that made her who she is by songs written by her own hand and legally twisting a contract to not allow her to perform these songs.

Also when I attend Lover Fest and find out she won't be playing any of her old songs your company has cheated me out of my money, my entertainment and any further dealings or purchases I would have ever made from your company.

It is horrible and disgusting the greed and power you are trying to hold over an artist and her plans.
